Absolutely love this album by Kurt Vile who I think is coming around as one of the most important American songwriters of the last 10 years. This has that vibe of Pete Yorn's masterful musicforthemorningafter. Thematically, it reminds me of Jackson Browne's Running On Empty, a bunch of Neil Young records. Even Nick Drake. But this is really great pensive, introspective stuff from Kurt Vile.
