The first Juan dela Cruz Band song I ever heard was "Beep Beep Beep". I loved the crudeness of it. As I was still very young, I couldn't buy the record as I didn't have the means to do so. When their final album, "Kahit Anong Mangyari" came out, now that, I saved up money to buy. It is the same thing with watching them in concert. I saw them a couple of times; one at school, in a massive show titled, Loyola Jam, and another at the Araneta Coliseum.
The local records have this warm spot in my heart. Maybe because these are our very own Filipino artists. Am a happy man to have these (including the Maria Cafra debut album).
