Listening to Celtic Frost's Morbid Tales

Was able to get a first pressing of Celtic Frost's first album, Morbid Tales (Metal Blade/Enigma Records), from 1985. Can you imagine how this sounded in 1985 with New Wave still at the top (but getting ready to give way to the metal/hard rock  and alternative music scene that would take over)?

It was unlike anything that came out at that time and this record helped pave the way for Doom and Black Metal. Absolutely love this record.
