Caught punk band Metz last night. Amazing set. Arrived late to get any of their 12-inch records (I only have their debut that I got in 2012). They had a few left and it was snapped up real quick. This was all that was left... and I am actually happy because I didn’t know about this seven inch single and this features former Rocket from the Crypt frontman John Reis. Saw that band sometime before they broke up in 2005. It is limited to a 2,000 run and was the band’s 2016 RSD release. So not bad even if I missed out on the others especially Strange Peace.
Was able to interview Metz' vocalist Alex Edkins at their May 31 show at Mow's last night. Watch for it.
